Imagination Playground at South Street Seaport

I checked out the new “Imagination Playground” at South Street Seaport. It was designed for the Parks Dept. pro-bono by architect David Rockwell, and is located on Burling Slip, right infront of the TKTS window.

The small but fun-looking playground has a nautical theme and is chock full of what is termed “loose parts” that look like giant tonka-toys.
